It Started With Our Family.

Moose Haven Farm began with a simple purpose: the health and wellness of our family.

Founded by husband-and-wife team Carrie and Ken Murray in Tustin, California, our journey began long before we ever imagined creating a skincare brand.

Like many families, we wanted to make better choices for our health and well-being. But for us, that desire became deeply personal when our son was diagnosed with ADHD.

We found ourselves navigating difficult decisions about his health and searching for ways to support him beyond conventional approaches alone. As parents, we wanted to understand the bigger picture—what we were putting into his body, the environment we were raising him in, and how everyday choices might influence our family's overall well-being.

That experience changed the way we looked at health.

We began asking questions, researching ingredients, exploring traditional wellness practices, and becoming more intentional about what we brought into our home.

Our faith was an important part of that journey. We believed God had already given us so much on this earth—plants, herbs, and natural resources with remarkable properties—and we wanted to better understand how to use those gifts to nourish and support the bodies He created.

We weren't looking for perfection. We were looking for a better way to care for our family.

The more we learned, the more we realized something simple: what we put on our bodies matters just as much as what we put in them.

We believed skincare should nourish and support the skin, not overwhelm it with unnecessary ingredients.

So, we started making our own.

What began as a personal commitment to healthier, more intentional living eventually grew into Moose Haven Farm—a family-owned skincare company built on the same values that inspired us from the beginning.

We believe great skincare doesn't need an endless ingredient list or complicated promises.

It needs the right ingredients, chosen for the right reasons.

Today, we handcraft our products in small batches in Southern California, using carefully selected, high-quality ingredients such as 100% grass-fed and grass-finished beef tallow, botanical oils, Manuka honey, and other purposeful ingredients.

We take pride in knowing what goes into our products—and just as importantly, what doesn't.

Because to us, what you leave out is just as important as what you put in.

Our family's journey eventually led Carrie to study medicinal herbalism, deepening her understanding of traditional plant-based wellness and the remarkable properties of the natural world.

Today, as a certified medicinal herbalist, she brings that knowledge, along with a deep appreciation for ingredient integrity and intentional living, into the development of Moose Haven Farm's products.

We believe God created a world filled with resources worth understanding, respecting, and using wisely. For us, medicinal herbalism is about appreciating those gifts, learning from generations of traditional knowledge, and making thoughtful choices about how we care for ourselves.

That philosophy guides everything we create.

We don't believe natural and innovative have to be opposites. We believe the best approach is choosing ingredients intentionally, understanding their purpose, and never adding something simply because it's trendy.

Our goal has never been to create the most complicated skincare.
